On third Thursdays of the month — such as TODAY — the Downtown Somerville Farmers Market will be open late, noon to 7 p.m. Other Thursdays, the market runs from noon to 5 p.m. on the Courthouse Green at the corner of East Main and Grove streets.
Today special events will include live music by Pirate Hat and Chef Lexan Koenig from the Venetian Grill, who will give hourly cooking demonstrations with ingredients from the market, at 4, 5 and 6 p.m.
